Delete your Taski account
You can delete your account yourself in the Taski app or the Taski Tasker app, or ask us to delete it. This page explains how, what deleting erases, and what is kept and why.Last updated: 24 October 2026
Delete it in the app
Taski (for customers)
Open the Profile tab and, under Account, tap Delete account. Then tap Yes, delete my account, and Delete account to confirm.
Taski Tasker (for Taskers)
Open the Profile tab, tap Delete Account at the bottom, then Delete. If the app shows that your application is under review or was not accepted, or that your account is on hold, tap Delete Account on that screen.
You have one account for both apps, so deleting it in one deletes it in both. Deleting cannot be undone.
Ask us to delete it
Email privacy@taskijo.com with the subject “Delete my account” and the phone number on the account. We check that the request comes from the account's owner, then delete the account as the app does. If your account is on hold and you are signed out, this is the way, since it cannot sign in.
Before you delete
You can delete your account once every task you posted or accepted is closed. Tasks you posted that no Tasker has taken are cancelled when you delete.
Deleting does not pay out your wallet. If money is left in it, contact us before you delete, and we will send it to you by CliQ.
What deleting does
Deleting erases the details that identify you, such as your name, phone number, email, bio and ID number. It also deletes your profile and ID photos, and any other photo you uploaded that is not part of a task, a chat or a payment, your saved addresses and your last location, and it signs you out on every phone. Where your name appeared on Taski, it now reads “Deleted User”.
It also deletes what Taski worked out from the tasks you described, and the words of any message that was stopped for holding a phone number or an email address. The tasks you posted keep only their area: their addresses, their map pins, and the names and numbers of anyone you named to be there are deleted.
What we keep, and why
- Records that are also someone else's, or are records of money: tasks, chats, reviews, payments, support requests and reports. They stay, with your name replaced by “Deleted User”. What was written in them, such as a task's description or a chat message, stays as it was written, and copies our team already received, such as emails, do not change.
- Your account's settings and history, such as your rating and the areas and skills you chose, which stay on the closed account under “Deleted User”.
- Technical records of how Taski was used, and our server logs.
- If your account is on hold when you delete it: your phone number and ID number, to prevent fraud.
- If money is left in your wallet, or a payout you asked for has not been sent: your phone number, kept with the closed account only to contact you about that money, until it is settled.
- If another user had blocked your account, or it owed Taski money: a code made from your phone number with a secret key, so that a new account made with that number takes those over. We delete the code when a new account on that number takes those over (a debt moves once that account is approved as a Tasker), or 12 months after you delete unless money is still owed.
- Backups: copies of our database, and of the photos and ID documents you uploaded, still hold what you deleted until they are deleted, after 30 days.
What deleting does not reach
Deleting does not recall what our service providers have already received. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
